Christchurch is in recovery mode following Saturdays' earthquake as authorities access the damage and how best to maintain business as usual. The major damage has been to the Central business district and some restriction in water and power supply which is being attended to by the utilities. All flights into Christchurch have returned to normal and most hotels are receiving guests.
