A Company History
Kirra Holidays was established in Adelaide, South Australia and the first tour for Australian school students to New Zealand operated in August 1968.
Since those early beginnings Kirra Holidays has evolved into a major travel business with offices in Adelaide, Christchurch and London supporting an enviable range of touring and travel options for domestic and international visitors to New Zealand to enable the ultimate in visitor satisfaction through the provision of innovative and experiential holidays.
Our overriding strength is the customer service and attention to detail exhibited by our staff that are all very well trained in New Zealand product through extensive internal and supplier training both at home and through frequent travel to New Zealand.
Kirra Holidays is a privately owned company. We not only support the 100% KIWI positioning because that it is the only destination we cover it also is true that we are 100% KIWI owned.
For over 41 Years Kirra Holidays has increased its depth of New Zealand holiday products and services, building strong relationships and reputation within the New Zealand tourism and travel industry. Working closely with Tourism New Zealand, regional tourism offices and local suppliers we have be able to bring to market a number of product innovations that are the envy of others.
We have the expertise to operate in-house a special interest groups division that has provided many diverse and unusual groups with highly satisfied experiences. Over time our experience provides us with the confidence that we can handle any type and style of group regardless of size and expectation.
